I worked on a series that had to do with hands when I was learning how to work with watercolor. I came across this sculpture by Auguste Rodin and was struck by the simple beauty of two hands touching ever so gently. I added in a little bit of hot pink to symbolize a little heat between the two- a reminder that we’re all here to connect to others. This was something that helped me come out of a very difficult period in my life where I had felt all alone.
