Statue Study III
Original watercolor painting of a statue
9x12”
Unframed
Early on in my watercolor journey, I did a series of studies of statues. I love working with the figure and found that using the female form as a focus for learning to use watercolor was a fun way for me to explore different techniques. I employed the use of watercolor pencils to draw lines and cross hatch sections on top of the watercolor itself. This made for a cool, modern, and graphic look that really pops!
